Our Story
Growing up in a Nigerian household, food was always at the center of celebrations, gatherings, and time spent with family. I started Uche’s Small Chops in college with a love for the foods I grew up enjoying and a desire to bring authentic Nigerian small chops, or flavorful finger foods commonly enjoyed at parties and gatherings, to events throughout Chicago.
What started as a passion has grown into a business that allows me to be a part of so many special moments, from birthdays and graduations to weddings, corporate events, and everything in between.
Every order is prepared with care, quality ingredients, and the same flavors I know and love. Whether you’re introducing your guests to Nigerian small chops for the first time or looking for the familiar taste of home, my goal is simple: delicious food that keeps people coming back for more.

Hi, I’m Uche! I’m the owner and chef behind Uche’s Small Chops. From preparing your food to answering inquiries, planning orders, and showing up at local markets, I’m hands-on in every part of the business.
One of my favorite parts of what I do is seeing Nigerian food enjoyed by people from all backgrounds, whether it’s a familiar favorite or someone’s very first meat pie or taste of suya.
My goal is to make every order feel thoughtful, flavorful, and worthy of whatever occasion brings you to Uche’s Small Chops.
